Go Blue

Busy day. Busy day. Sharon and I braved the open water again. By ourselves. Well kind of. We got to carpentaria. Looking for a life guard, figure well check in, swim around a bit. And um. Why isn't there a life guard on a state beach at 9 am?? Got me. So we wondered around a bit checking out the course and the transition area. Well luck for us there were other folks running, biking and swimming the course. So. We started chatting with this guy Mracus and John who looked like they knew what they were doing, they were putting on the wet suit and minutes later we were doing the same. Sooo. Off we went. Think we did the course (500 yards ) it didn't look long but sure felt long. Swimming in a tight tight wetsuit was umm hard. Guess I'm just not use to it. Oh I did freak out a bit going through some sea weed. All in all we got through it. Those guys were really nice checked into us through out the swim. Even offered us beer in the parking lot after See Jen you should have came. Granted we had to leave and could not hang out. Had to go to a dodger game.

Busy busy got home and straight back out to the dodger game. Got there in the second ining but it was hot so I'm fine with it. Kids got antsy but that is no surprise. We had fun watching the game.

Well one more week to go counting down now...
