Kevin is "ON"

Kevin is offically "ON". We went to the House Ear Institute yesturday to get his inital mapping done with his audiologist. Everything tested out fine, the implant is working the way it should. They tested each electrode (it has 24). He actually responded to some of them whey they were testing, which is great. The audiologist created a mapping (setting) for his implant and turned him "ON". It's set at a very low setting intially so he doesn't have a negative exprience. When he wears is outer piece and is turned on, he doesn't seem to notice much. We have 2 more meeting next week to modify his setting. We'll see how he does then. But for now. He's doing great!
