Counting Down

21 hours til Kevin's surgery . It looks like Kevin is finally healthy enough for the Cochlear implant surgery... but just like the shuttle launches, you never know until the it actually lifts off. So cross your fingers he can have the surgery and more importantly cross your fingers that the surgery is successful.

Surprisingly this surgery is an outpatient surgery so we'll be home by late afternoon, I think. The surgery is scheduled for 8am. The doctor said the procedure only takes 45 minutes. Getting pretty anxious now, but glad it's going to finally happen.
