Happy New Year!!
YAHHH for 2006! Happy New Year Everyone! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.
Santa Clause visited Hopetown again (before Christmas, love our neighbor). So fortunate not to have to go to the mall to visit Santa before Christmas. Kyle asked for Thomas the train again this year and said yes to whatever Santa asked. Kevin didn't ask for anything, but look dang cute in santa's laps. Hopefully I'll post some photos soon. Kyle got what he wanted and then some. Christmas morning we got through half his gifts at home he said "no more, too many" He didn't want to open any more gifts. He did get Salty (thomas' friend), toy kitchen, computer games, musical instruments, and some clothes from Santa, kevin and us. He then got more stuff when we went to Grandmas. Kevin got a soft Car book from santa and the toy kitchen and musical instrument were for both of them. The boys did have a good time at Christmas.
Inbetween Christmas and New Year, both Darin and I were home with the boys. We only did little stuff like go to the local mall, library, dinner, bookstore, etc. Nothing major. Just really hung out at the house. It was fun. A little update on the boys. Kevin is close to walking he cruises on the furniture really well. He likes looking at his books, and loves following around his brother. He still only has 7 teeth and is about 21 pounds right now. Kyle spelled his first word last tuesday (dec 27, 2005). We got him the word whammer magnet (leap frog) for christmas. He got his "go dog go" book and he wanted to make words like the book. He spelled "HAT", then later that day, Kyle spelled "BIG". Pretty cool he started to spell out words already.
New Years Eve and New Year was pretty quite. On New Years Eve, we drove down to Jenni's very late to her party. I really liked it since no one was there and we really got to sit and talked to Jenni and Tony. I don't think we would have hung out with them that much if we went on time. Then after we headed off to the Igawa's house to hang out with Kaz, Chris, Skyler, Bert and Raye. Our usual New Years Eve plan. Very quite evening with great friends. Loved it. ;-) New Years Day, we spent having breakfast with my parents, YUMMM! and off to Darin's Cousin's for a very late lunch. It was great seeing family and friends to start off the New Year! Really looking forward to this year. ;-)

HI Sao- Yes, I'm glad you guys came late. Much more quality time with us than when there were 30 people in our living room! it was kind of nutso. It's 4am. Sorry we missed Kevin's bday party. Maiya (and I) was up all night the night before with a fever (again), and it turns out she napped from 3pm to 5:30 pm! a napping record.
