..already a month past

wow..already been a month. Been meaning to update. Sorry gang..but I Have PHOTOS! ok lets try to summarize our life in a month..

A couple of good news, my uncle survived the surgery and the week. He's moved out of ICU so that's great news. He isn't out of the woods completely, but doing better. Also grandma is also doing better so good news from Japan.

Last month, Darin and I went off to San Antonio Texas for the Cochlear America conference. That was a nice little getaway (kids stayed with grandparents). Also very informative. We went looking for information on the benfits of bilateral implants. We'll probably move ahead to get Kevin another one. Also pretty cool, is we got to meet the inventor (Graem Clark) and his team (Jim Patrick) of the multi-channel cochlear implant. Amazing of what they did.

Went off a couple of weeks ago to the snow with Kyle's best friend Logan's family. It was lots of fun for Kyle..not so much for Kevin, he didn't want to keep his mittens on, and yet he fell a lot onto the snow so he was pretty cranky through out the day...

2 weeks ago, headed out to Santa Barbara Zoo..just to get out. Really quick trip out. need to get the kids out. Only stayed for a couple of hours. Kids had a great time riding the train and also seeing the Lion. Kevin's got a great Roar.

This past weekend, did a lot of errands and met up with Rituko and Family. Congrats to Ritsuko and Chris on their engagement! yah! Kids had a blast hanging out with them at our house. Need to do that more often. On Sunday took Denali to the groomers.. Think we've only done that once in the past..but this time she got pretty pink ribbons. She gets to be a girly girl dog once in a while. ;-)

and for conclusion.. leave you with theses photos.. my boys at work..doing dishes. ;-)

first off - the photo of the kuida's in the snow. where the heck was the snow??

second - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! i think you should've left the ribbons in denali's hair. that's hysterical!!

Lastly - good idea - start training them early while they still want to help with dishes, cuz when they discover TV and all the shows they've been missing throughout the years...forget it!! no contest!! :)

Hey "super nanny" can you come over my our house and teach our kids to wash the dishes? You left the pictures of your kids washing the cars because you didn't want to get red flagged by Child Protection Services?
